The first step to a profitable marketing plan is a representative sample to present to your buyer. Think about this, if you bought a green combine and they deliver a red combine is the deal the same?.....No.
Deliver the quality your sample represents every time.
Not only that, giving your buyer confidence in the quality you have in storage can present marketing opportunities.
Your buyer can think of your stored grain as off-site inventory allowing him to fill orders with confidence.
Not one time - every time.
When you present a sample your reputation is on the line. When you purchase our sampler, our reputation is on the line. Our design, construction and the ease with which we can adapt our sampler to any make and model of swing-away auger without any cutting or drilling was implicit in our design. Tighten a wing nut, or two, plug in to 12V power and you have the most innovative and accurate sampler for all your grain production.
Canadian Patent 3,008,843
US Patent Pending
We have simply designed and built the only automatic grain sampling system that guarantees accurate, representative samples from your swing-away auger or bagger at the flick of a switch. Even sampling as harvest loads are placed in storage where you do not have to rely on the
"Did he, or didn't he get a good sample of that load?" "Does he even know how to take a sample?"
Never ask those questions again. And....nobody has to stand in the dust to get it.
Can you believe the tools in this picture still represent the most used and trusted grain sampling technology?
There have been attempts to design samplers that could be attached to an auger. Most involved cutting or drilling a hole in the tube or transition from swing-away to the main auger section. The hole allowed grain to escape and was intended to be caught in a pail or bag.
The problem with this style of samplers was that the holes allowed lighter materials to escape and the sample was distorted and not truly representative. Tisdale's samplers are built from high quality materials and designed to give many years of dependable accurate sampling.
We get the sample from the heaviest flow of material insuring an accurate representation.
The sampler is adjustable for sample size and number of samples it will gather for each load going through the auger.
The sampler can be set up to automatically start and stop as the swing-away section is started and stopped.
A high visibility indicator light will tell the operator when the sampler is working. Tisdale' Sampler runs all the time that material is going through the auger. To our knowledge it has never answered a text, moved away from the noise to talk on a cell phone, sat in the truck and ate a sandwich or neglected to take a sample to stay out of the dust.
It just works! First Time! Every Time! All the time!
Tisdale's was founded by two Saskatchewan guys, one has 30 years of experience on the frontline of the western Canadian grain handling system. Countless disagreements over quality of sample vs. the quality delivered could have been averted with an accurate sampling system available to producers.
The other is a machinist who refuses to compromise on quality. He also holds a PHD in AgEcon (UofS) and has extensively researched Western Canadian grain markets and marketing.
